La Memoria del Espacio

In La Memoria del Espacio, grooves, indentations, and perforations are not mere marks on a surface—they are traces that reveal space as a living body, sensitive to time, history, and presence. This series of works proposes a vision of space not as a neutral background or an empty container, but as a tangible witness to everything that has passed through it. Each texture becomes memory, each irregularity a way of narrating what once was, what has transformed, and what still resonates.

Matter, intervened and transgressed, becomes a mirror of human experience. Through gestures—ranging from scratches to voids—the artist acknowledges both the fragility of the ephemeral and the permanence inscribed in the material. Here, space is not fixed or immutable: it is a dynamic terrain, shaped by bodies, stories, and the absences that inhabit it.

In each piece, time becomes visible as texture, as scar, as an act of transformation. The void, far from being an absence, emerges as an active presence—dense with meaning and layered with invisible accumulations of time.
