Arte Laguna Prize | Shanghai Exhibition 2025
Inaugurated on October 31, 2025, at EKA Tianwu in Jinqiao, Pudong, the first Arte Laguna Prize exhibition in Shanghai features over 100 international artists and marks a new chapter in the cultural exchange between East and West.
Arte Laguna Prize, an internationally renowned event that has been held in Venice for over twenty years, has become a significant reference point in the global art world thanks to its open and inclusive spirit and its authoritative, professional evaluation process.
With the exhibition in Shanghai, the Arte Laguna Prize makes its debut in Asia, presenting award-winning and extraordinary artworks from around the world and marking an important milestone in its global expansion. The exhibition offers art lovers an exceptional opportunity to engage with top-level international artworks.
Hosted in the exclusive 2,000-square-meter space of EKA·Tianwu, the exhibition provides a unique artistic experience through its perfect fusion of industrial heritage and modern art. The works on display range from traditional artistic forms to innovative explorations of cutting-edge practices such as digital art.
Born from a deep collaboration between Arte Laguna International Prize and the Chinese art community, this exhibition is not only a high-level aesthetic event but also an exercise in cultural understanding and exchange.
EKA is a renovation project covering an area of over 40,000 square meters, with 1,500 square meters dedicated to the Arte Laguna Prize artists. Originally founded by the Pudong Customs Factory in 1869, the space was later leased by Jiayun Investment. Following investment and renovation, it has begun to attract new projects and has become an integral part of the local market activity.
The exhibition runs from November 1 to December 15, 2025, and is curated by Huang Yi.
